Kings For A Day
King's College Hospital in London is one of the country's leading teaching hospitals with an international reputation for liver and cardiac care. It needed an induction film to engage and enthuse new recruits about the benefits of workings at King's.
With a two-week turnaround and a tight budget, we opted for an image film that combined animating text with the dynamism of time-lapse footage and carefully composed staff portraits.
Filmed in HD using Sony's EX1 and EX3 cameras with prime lens adapters, the film has a real cinematic quality that so impressed our client, we were commissioned to create a new version to help market the Trust's medical expertise overseas.
"The launch of the new corporate induction video was a great success. Thank you so much for all your support and guidance with the film - you turned it round so quickly and it really has turned out just as we wanted."
Jane Kartupelis, King's College Hospital
"We were very pleased with the programme. Quintessence took our brief and translated
it into an excellent video which explains the case for renewables in an informative
and engaging manner."
Ian Sharpe, Head of Energy Resources, Manweb
"Thank you for providing an efficient and professional service, the video was
really well received and the feedback from staff has also been very positive."
