Forager's Field Guide

Presented by food writer and gastronome Matthew Fort, Forager's Field Guide examines the wealth of wild food on our doorstep, much of which can be gathered and used to flavour a variety of different dishes.
In the company of wild food expert and herbalist Christopher Robbins, Matthew gathers seasonal varieties of fruit, herbs, seaweed and fungi and rustles up some alfresco starters using wild ingredients before retreating to his kitchen to prepare some more sophisticated wild food delicacies.
The series provides an absorbing and amusing guide to all that's fresh and flavoursome in the great outdoors. The series was first shown on ITV West and is currently on Sky.
We also bring experience of working on long running popular factual series in a freelance capacity, with Quintessence directors contributing programmes to Channel 4's fossil hunting series "The Big Monster Dig", to ITV's "Food Guide" and to three series of the RTS Award winning "Watercolour Challenge" (Channel 4).
