Video is a powerful tool to increase awareness of an issue, change people’s attitudes or raise funds for a particular cause. We are experienced in helping organisations, both large and small, get their message across with power and emotion. We don’t have a standard approach but have used drama, personal testimonies and thought-provoking animation to motivate audiences to challenge, engage and support good causes.
Lasting Memories
BRIEF: Produce a film to raise awareness of dementia authored by young people
CLIENT: Southern Brooks
Southern Brooks approached us to work with school children to develop a film about dementia for a young audience. We staged film workshops with a group of Year 7 pupils so they could record their experiences. The group visited a dementia drop-in centre and filmed each other’s interactions with a group of people suffering from dementia. First screened as part of ‘Dementia Awareness’ week, the film is regularly used by schools.
Jason’s Room
BRIEF: To raise awareness of the experiences of children in care
CLIENT: Bristol City Children & Young People’s Services/NuShoots
Jason is 16 and he’s lived in 27 foster placements. Set in an emergency placement room, this devised drama was developed and acted by teenagers in care. Working with Bristol Children’s Services and Social Enterprise NuShoots, we helped to raise the project’s funding through successful grant applications. Premiered at Bristol’s Watershed Cinema, the film is an educational resource used by schools and prospective foster parents.

This film was designed to show householders the benefits of signing up and explain what would be involved.
